President and Owner
Stephanie Howard started with Snelling Staffing Services in Savannah, Georgia in 1995 and opened the Birmingham, Alabama office in 1998. She specializes in the placement of professional, administrative and office positions on a temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire basis. Stephanie has been recognized nationally throughout her tenure as a Snelling Recruiter of the Year, Staffing Specialist of the Year, member of the Staffing Team of the Year, and Account Manager of the Year. She is a Certified Personnel Consultant and member of the Alabama Staffing Association. As President of Career and Staffing Solutions, Inc. dba Snelling Staffing Services, Stephanie gained certification as a Woman Owned Business by WBENC in 2009.
Stephanie serves on the AOM Advisory Board for Virginia College in Birmingham and the Family Self Sufficiency Program Committee for the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District. She is a frequent speaker on job search techniques for the Department of Human Resources, Easter Seals, local colleges and other programs. Stephanie is a 1989 graduate of Auburn University with a Business/Marketing Degree.

David has been with Snelling Staffing Services since he and Stephanie opened the Birmingham, Alabama office in 1998. He specializes in the placement of Professional, Office Clerical and Light Industrial positions on a temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire basis. David has been recognized nationally throughout his tenure as a Snelling Recruiter of the Year, Staffing Specialist of the Year, Manager of the Year and Regional Manager of the Year in the Snelling Network. He is a Certified Personnel Consultant and member of the Alabama Staffing Association. David is responsible for staff development, strategic planning, operations and implementation of company goals and objectives. David is a 1987 graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics.

Light Industrial Division Manager
Ben Howard is a Staffing Manager specializing in temporary and permanent light industrial positions including, but not limited to: general labor, warehouse clerks, and forklift operators. He joined the Snelling team in 2007 and has several years’ experience as a delivery/installation tech and driver for a Birmingham firm.

Bonnie Van Brunt has worked with Snelling Staffing Services of Birmingham since 1999 as an Administrative and Accounting Assistant. She handles client relations, candidate applications and paperwork, payroll and other accounting duties.

Adriane joined the Snelling team in 2013, where she started as a Receptionist. She now takes on the role of a Staffing Assistant, providing administrative and staffing support. She has over 3 years experience in office support and clerical roles. Prior to joining the Snelling team she obtained her Bachelor's degree in English and Education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She now enjoys working with a dynamic team, helping to meet the needs of both clients and candidates in the local area.

Office Services Staffing Manager
Sylinda joined the Snelling team in 2013. She brings with her 16 plus years of experience in the social sciences and administration fields. She began focusing on her career goals early while pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Sylinda has worked in wide range of positions that includes: police dispatcher, records manager, substance abuse prevention specialist/manager, trainer and independent State consultant. She has a true passion for helping others in all walks of life. During her career she has become proficient with management, interviewing techniques and policy/procedure writing. Sylinda is excited to bring this knowledge to the Snelling team as well as her clients and candidates.

Elise joined the Snelling office in 2008 as a Business Development Manager. She quickly earned recognition by being awarded “Rookie of the Year”. She has since changed roles to lead the professional recruiting division, a team that specializes in career level placements. An Engineer by trade with over 10 years of sales experience, she now specializes in Engineering and Sales positions. She's an Auburn graduate with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, teaching aerobics, and talking about herself in the third person.

Michael joined Snelling in 2014 as a professional recruiter. He enjoys partnering with local businesses to help reduce costs associated with hiring and turnover by matching top talent candidates with their respective organizations. Michael has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Resources, and Associate of applied science degrees in both Aviation Flight Technology and Air Traffic Control.

Business Development Manager
Sonya Ellis joined Snelling Staffing Services of Birmingham, Alabama in 2011. She has over 14 years in the staffing and recruiting industry. In fact, she worked for Snelling Staffing Services in Akron, OH in the early 90’s. Her background includes sales and management. Sonya also has 7 years of retail management and sales experience. Her goal is to build new client relationships and well as to service and grow existing clients in the Birmingham area.

Jamie has worked with Snelling since 2007, and joined the Birmingham team in March 2015. She specializes in temporary and permanent placement of light industrial and administrative positions. She is a Western Kentucky University graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources which has helped her excel with interviewing techniques and recruiting qualified candidates.. Colter joined Snelling in 2015 as a Professional Recruiter. He specializes in Medical and Technical positions, having come from over 7 years of experience working in the medical field as a representative of a medical device company. Colter is a graduate of UAB with a degree in Business Management. He believes strongly in the value of excellent customer service and understands the importance of building lasting relationships. Colter strives to find the “right fit” for both client and candidate by connecting top organizations with high-end talent that fits culture as well as skill requirements. He loves spending time outdoors with his family and anything involving soccer.
