UNUSUAL REQUESTS
For over 50 years, companies have come to Snelling requesting employees to fill a variety of positions, many of which have been, well, beyond the norm. Below are some of the more unusual positions that Snelling has been asked to fill over the years.
  • Seat belt tester - must weigh 92 pounds or less, and must be 4 feet 11 inches or less.
  • Lion tamer for a division of Barnum & Bailey's Circus.
  • Bungee cord operator.
  • Movie extras.
  • M&M bottler - must label and package bottles as well.
  • Sweetener - must add sugar to water and ice mixture.
  • Jurors - or rather, mock jurors to help attorneys practice for high profile cases.
  • Auto parts smasher - destroying auto parts at a distribution center.
  • Barnyard worker - plus administrative duties.
  • Mummies, pirates, geckos, Santa and the Statue of Liberty - or people to dress uplike that in costume.
