Snelling Huntsville is a female/veteran owned small business, locally owned and operated for 34 years by George Barnes. We have a stake in our community and are committed to the success of our operation. We realize that our success depends solely on the business relationships we develop with our clients. Therefore, we strive to provide that added personal touch that is so often lacking within larger organizations.
We have two divisions to handle all of our client's needs. Snelling Staffing Services specializes in the temporary and full time placement of office services personnel in clerical, administrative, accounting, human resources, and government contracting positions. We also handle light industrial and technical positions. The Executive Recruiters in our Snelling Professional Services division focus on the career placement of banking, sales, information technology, and engineering professionals.
Our Snelling Team has 70 combined years of industry experience and has been recognized nationally for top-producers in the following categories: Business Development Manager, Staffing Management Team, Recruiter, and First Year Achiever. George has 34 years of staffing experience. As an Executive Recruiter, he specializes in the placement of banking executives throughout the Southeast. In 2008, George was recognized in the Silver Circle for production and he ranked 7th in the nation. Additionally, he was the recipient of the National Snelling Award for Leadership and the Community Service Award. George has served as President of the Alabama Staffing Association, Alabama Personnel Consultants, North Alabama Sales & Marketing Executives, and the Huntsville Rotary Club. He has dedicated over 20 years to the Snelling Franchise Advisory Council and spent 15 years on the Board of Directors at Kentucky Trust Bank.

Selina joined Snelling with 15 years of retail management experience. She has worn many hats during her 12 year tenure with Snelling and currently oversees the temporary, temp-to-hire, and career placements of both divisions: Snelling Staffing Services and Snelling Professional Services.

Penny joined Snelling with three years of diverse recruiting and sales experience in the middle Tennessee market. She specializes in the career placement of banking executives. Penny received 3 national performance awards in 2006 and 4 national performance awards in 2007. She is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

Kathy is in her tenth year at Snelling. She joined the team with 15 years of retail management experience. She is certified as a Temporary Staffing Specialist and places administrative professionals. Kathy is a member of Executive Women International and has served two terms on their Board of Directors and is currently the Executive Women of Tomorrow Conference chair.

Wendy joined Snelling nearly four years ago with over seven years of clerical background including human resources and accounts payable experience. Her skills prove to be very useful when processing payroll for employees and invoicing clients.

Amy joined Snelling with 25 years experience in customer service and sales with four of those years in the staffing industry. She specializes in the temp-to-hire and career placement of accounting, administrative, human resources, and government contracting professionals. Amy was awarded the Bronze Circle for production and four national performance awards in 2008.
