Order Picker/Puller, Cycle Count



Basic Purpose of Position: Responsible for shipment of materials, supplies and equipment. Under general supervision, prepares records of goods shipped and bill of landing. Posts weight and shipping charges and maintains shipping record files. May operate forklift and prepare goods for final shipment.

1.    Primary or Major Responsibilities:
•    Picking, receiving, and cycle counting parts as needed to meet Production needs. Stages and assembles work order kits. Convey material by forklift and hand to assist in loading and moving of materials and products.
•    Prepare shipping documentation including shipment labels, chain of custody forms, packing slips/bills of lading, product ID bar codes for assemblies and boxes. Coordinate pick-up/delivery of finished and packaged goods.
•    All other duties as assigned.
2.    Safety:
•    Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized.
3.    Minimum Requirements: 
•    Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. Able to reliably work independently
•    Language Ability: Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Able to read and comprehend written work instructions.
•    Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
•    Computer Skills: Must be able to operate a computer effectively enough to navigate shipping carrier websites to track and prepare packages and perform look-ups and basic data entry in company systems (email, ERP, etc.).
It is understood that certain minimum requirements are not tested for but monitored for competent capability during the employee’s indoctrination period.
