Receptionist/Office Assistant

Mainland office needs a Receptionist to assist their staff during a special project:

 

Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.

 

Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.

 

Schedule appointments and maintain and update appointment calendars.

 

Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public.

 

File and maintain records.

 

Perform data entry and other office tasks as required.

 

Successful candidate will have at least a working knowledge of MS-Office products or similar software including Word, Excel, and Outlook; active listening skills, a clear speaking voice, a “smile” on the phone, and a desire to help customers.

 

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

 

Dress Code:  Dress slacks or pants, shirt/blouse, comfortable (preferably flat) shoes.
