Senior Analyst, Sales Analytics


The Senior Analyst, Sales Analytics will use his/her expertise in analytical techniques to provide analytical support in the development of business metric reporting and customer level analytics

  • This assignment requires a business analytics professional who possesses an understanding of the pharmaceutical, medical devices, and/or diagnostics sales & marketing processes, data sources, advanced analytics and data science methods, tools as well as working knowledge of field force support practices and decision support systems enablement and governance.


  • Build business metrics and effectiveness reporting – develop KPI’s, dashboards, and analysis to bring insight into the selling and customer management process; analyze CRM ( reports and dashboards
  • Conduct customer level analytics including sales trends, order/supply patterns, and contracted price impact
  • Provide ad-hoc/gap analytics and reports to all levels of field sales management and other commercial stakeholders in support of their ongoing efforts to achieve sales targets and track sales execution results

  • Able and willing to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, managing multiple tasks and competing demands
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences; ability to think analytically, understand complex or ambiguous situations and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely
  • Ability to facilitate the cooperation of internal and external partners and to interact with all levels of the organization across multiple functional areas


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, quantitative, or scientific fields required
  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ overall analytical experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Management Consulting required

Professional knowledge and Technical skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, or Healthcare industries preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to frame and solve problems and opportunities across multiple data sources
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and establish efficient working relationship with peers and internal customers, such as sales, marketing, finance, and management
  • Advanced Excel and data visualization skills required.  Experience in SQL database preferred but not required
