Team Leader/Software Developer


SNELLING is currently seeking Full Stack Software Developer candidates with 5 or more years’ experience to join our client located in the East Texas area. This Full Stack Software Developer will work in a Scrum team with bi-weekly sprints to develop new code in Visual Studio 2019 using C#, Microsoft SQL and various web technologies.  The software is modular with a Windows service backend with a web frontend.  

The ideal candidate will have a desire to continually learn new skills and stay on top of the latest technology. For candidates with leadership capacity, this role could include Team Leader responsibilities as well.  There are more than ten developers on five different projects using Team Foundation Server to manage work items & provide source control.  The selected candidate will be required to complete a professional Scrum Master certificate within the first few months of employment.  This position is a long-term opportunity and the company seeks someone wanting to establish themselves in East Texas and stay with the company as your knowledge grows.  The company offers the chance to learn new technologies and encourages involvement in the community.  They also offer a good work/life balance and a competitive compensation package including benefits.  Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications of the Full Stack Software Developer will include:

• Utilization of Visual Studio 2019 C# (5 years prior experience or more required)

• Transactional SQL with Microsoft SQL 

• Database design and modifications

• Development in .Net Core/Standard

• Requirements analysis and planning 

• Excellent technical writing skills

• Strong organizational and communication skills

During the multi-stage interview process each candidate will be asked to complete job specific programming duties so as to better ascertain the qualifications of each individual.
