Field Service Technician / Project Assistant


Position Title: Field Service Technician / Project Assistant

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The role of a Field Service Technician / Project Assistant is to be the customer-facing representative that provides excellent service and care to our commercial, industrial and residential customers.


  • • Activities require handling and grasping with the hands when performing cleaning or restoration of various duct systems by utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls and other small parts.
  • • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. and seldom lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • • Exposure to loud noise, dust, dirt, gas or fumes and chemicals, etc.
  • • Work in confined spaces and in unprotected weather elements.
  • • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and crawl for prolonged periods of time.
  • • Ability to climb over heavy equipment or maneuver through ceilings, ducts, or crawl spaces or similar.
  • • Ability to wear company provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.



  • • Perform, cleaning and minor repairs of equipment and tools.
  • • Adhere to all safety procedures.
  • • Maintain positive customer relations through professional interactions with customers as required.
  • • Follow standard operating and industry procedures.
  • • Capable of operating industrial equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.
  • • Paid, field-related, formal training, and continuing education as required.
  • • Load and unload equipment.
  • • Clean and prepare new and existing equipment for use as requested.
  • • Recognize and communicate the need for shop tools, equipment, supplies and parts.
  • • Communicate with Supervisor and/or Project Manager for equipment maintenance requirements and repair.
  • • Provide assistance to all other levels of technicians as needed in regard to project completion / task.
  • • Scope, familiarize and demonstrate operations of systems to customers as required.
  • • Availability to work flexible hours, over-time, and out of town / state as needed.
  • • Other duties as assigned / required.

  • • Familiar with policies and procedures of active construction sites



  • • Follow all company policies and procedures as well as all local, state, and federal laws concerning employment.
  • • Maintain confidentiality of company records and information at all times.
  • • Maintain a professional image.
  • • Valid driver’s license, able to pass a physical and a drug test.
  • • Potential for review increases after 30 days, 60 days, 90 days

  • • Paid vacation, after 1st year of full-time employment.
