Maintenance Technician


Snelling is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician for a growing, fast paced plastics company in the Grand Rapids area.


1st shift

$18 – $20 per hour

Will consider Direct Hire for the right candidate



Position Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician: 

  • Preventative Maintenance of machines
  • Trouble-shooting and equipment repairs
  • Keeping records on repairs and PM’s (PM’s, oiling and greasing of equipment)
  • Ordering parts
  • Ensure adherence to ISO [Quality and Environmental] procedures, policies and work instructions.
  • Assist Maintenance ‘B’ personnel as Mentor
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor



Requirements for the Maintenance Technician

  • A minimum of 2 yrs. Experience as a maintenance  technician of PLASTIC INJECTION MOLDING MACHINES
  • Hydraulic and electrical trouble-shooting
  • Completion of a hydraulic and electronic course with a grade of “C” or above
  • Score at least ‘Above Average’ on Mechanical Aptitude Test.
  • Continuing education class on hydraulics, electrical and electronics.
  • High School Diploma or GED
