Inside Sales/ Operations Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists outside sales by quoting, purchasing, scheduling, & keeping track of current status of salesman’s orders at all stages of transaction from initial quote to final delivery.
  • Works directly with the Shop to coordinate and schedule a completion time & date on orders.
  • Performs basic clerical duties including answering calls, maintaining records, & filling in as needed including following up on back orders, orders for pickup and drop ship orders.
  • Helps walk in, Call in, & Email customers with their orders in a friendly & knowledgeable way.
  • Designs safe and compliant rigging solutions for customers based off their unique requirements, situation & application.
  • Understanding & being able to explain to customers the processes, procedures, rules, & regulations that relate to their request for quotes, their orders and their delivery needs.
  • Manage the condition of certain sales accounts and ensure that pricing, margins, timing of orders and overall satisfaction are maintained on both their side & ours with the goal being to maintain & grow the existing relationship.
  • Purchase required rigging for shop inventory, orders, customer repairs, & drop ship orders as needed under supervision of  Purchasing Manager.
  • Notice & report inventory Discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.
  •  Keep detailed list of all verbal communication for future reference.
  •  Organize and prioritize job duties & responsibilities on a daily basis.
