Ophthalmic Technician


Snelling is looking for a friendly part-time Ophthalmic Technician to join the team of a busy vision center with locations Grand Rapids and Greenville. You would be traveling to both locations, rotating days.


Some medical technician experience, basic knowledge of ocular terms, and ocular procedures is preferred, but not necessary. 


We are looking for an individual who has a willingness to learn, is able to work in a fun, fast-paced environment, and who is comfortable working and communicating with patients.


Pay range $11-$15/hour. Great resume building for those entering, or continuing, their technician career. Many of their Ophthalmic Technicians have gone on to professional school such as medicine or optometry.


Responsibilities of the Ophthalmic Technician include, but are not limited to:

·        Welcoming patients and obtaining medical history

·        Checking vision 

·        Utilizing ophthalmic equipment to assist physician with exam
