Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineering Technician

  • Calibration of analog circuit boards
  • Bench Testing
  • Component level troubleshooting of circuit boards
  • Evaluation of noise detector and optical systems
  • Communicate and troubleshoot with customers
  • Assist in the improvement process of the manufacturing floor

Required for the Electrical Engineering Technician

  • A.S. Degree in Engineering/Electrical Technology/Optics or a related technical field and 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to use schematics to perform component level troubleshooting and repair of circuit boards/wiring harnesses
  • Calibration, bench testing, set up and troubleshooting
  • ESD training and soldering experience – IPC certification preferred

Desired skills for the Electrical Engineering Technician

  • Experience testing computer-controlled sensors/instrumentation, and computer-based data acquisition systems
  • Experience wiring complex circuits and assembling opto-mechanical systems
  • Experience operating in an ISO9001 manufacturing environment
  • Experience with FDA laser safety, FAA, and CE regulations
