Customer Service Representative - Insurance


Are you ready to take charge and own your next position?  Snelling is looking for an independent, dynamic and responsible Customer Service Representative to work in a small insurance office in the Greater Grand Rapids area. 

Qualifications For The Insurance Customer Service Representative:

  • Previous experience working in an office setting (insurance office would be ideal)

  • Skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet

  • Fast learner, strong memory recall, and detail orientated

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills

Responsibilities For The Insurance Customer Service Representative :

  • Interact with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person to provide support and information on products or services.

  • Collect and enter information for new or additional products or services.

  • Field customer questions and complaints

  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve any customer problems or concerns.

  • Maintain customer accounts and records of our customer’s interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.

Benefits For The Insurance Customer Service Representative:

$13 – $15 per hour based on experience

Hours of work, 8:45am – 5:15pm M – F

Bonus pay based on performance

2 Weeks Paid Vacation
