Job Description
*The pay for this position is based on experience.*
Reports directly to the Drafting Coordinator.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to manage drafting and detailing blueprints along with other duties assigned by the Drafting Coordinator. Candidates shall require minimal supervision with a high degree of accuracy.
Responsibilites
- Prepare structural installation and shop drawings
- Work with engineers and detailers to produce accurate drawings for the specific project
- Utilize MBS/CAD software to generate readable and accurate blueprints
- Assist Drafting Coordinator and Engineering Manager as needed
Experience
- Associate’s degree or higher of applied science in drafting and engineering
- Two plus years of drafting experience
- Excellent ablities in CAD platforms
- Proven experience acting as the point of contact between drafting/engineering and detailing departments
