Job Description

Parts Associate

Job Title: Parts Associate
Location: Bryan/Navasota Area
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed

Position Overview

We are working with an established RV dealership and service operation that is looking to add a dependable Parts Associate to its team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who has experience in parts, inventory, customer service, automotive, trailers, equipment, powersports, or a similar service-related environment. The right person does not have to know RV parts on day one, but they do need to be organized, customer-focused, and willing to learn.

This role is an important link between customers, the service department, vendors, and technicians. The Parts Associate will help identify parts needs, place orders, track inventory, communicate updates, and make sure the service team has what they need to keep repairs moving.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians with parts and accessory needs
• Look up parts, verify availability, and place orders as needed
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts and inventory
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
• Follow up on special orders, backorders, and customer requests
• Support the service department by locating and staging parts for repairs
• Keep parts records, invoices, and inventory information accurate
• Provide professional customer service in person and over the phone
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts area
• Learn RV parts, accessories, systems, and product lines over time

What We’re Looking For

• Previous parts experience is preferred
• Automotive, RV, trailer, marine, equipment, powersports, hardware, or service-related experience is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good computer and data entry skills
• Ability to stay organized and follow through on details
• Comfortable working with customers, technicians, vendors, and internal staff
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn RV parts and service terminology

Best-Fit Candidate

The best fit is someone who takes ownership, communicates well, and understands that parts is more than just handing something across a counter. This person needs to be able to follow up, keep things moving, ask good questions, and help both the customer and service team get what they need.

Someone with automotive parts, equipment parts, trailer parts, service writing, inventory, or counter sales experience could transition well into this role.
