Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX.
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing quality inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other dimensional inspection tools.
1st Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
2nd Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am (midnight)
– overtime may be required per Company needs
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products for defects and dimensional accuracy.
* Perform visual and dimensional inspections according to established specifications.
* Use calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other measuring instruments accurately.
* Monitor production and assembly processes for quality concerns or deviations.
* Identify nonconforming products and communicate quality issues to production and quality teams.
* Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and measurements.
* Assist with troubleshooting quality issues and identifying potential corrective actions.
* Maintain measuring and inspection equipment and verify proper calibration.
* Follow established quality procedures, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
* Support continuous improvement efforts to improve product quality and production processes.
Required Qualifications
* Previous Quality Control / Quality Inspector experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and dimensional measuring tools.
* Ability to perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor defects or inconsistencies.
* Good documentation and recordkeeping skills.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to communicate quality concerns clearly with production and management.
* Understanding of manufacturing quality standards and inspection procedures.
This is not an entry-level Quality Control position. Candidates should have previous hands-on manufacturing inspection experience.
