SNELLING, a locally owned & operated staffing and recruiting firm is seeking a dynamic and sales-driven Digital Branch Services Associate (Digital Banking Representative/Teller) to join a local financial services organization. The ability to speak, read & write in Spanish and English is required for this role. Pay will depend on experience, but will be in the range of $15 to $18/hr.
Role Summary
As a Digital Branch Services Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for members reaching out via phone, email, text, and chat. Your mission is to provide a warm, professional experience while driving revenue growth by recommending credit union products—such as loans, credit cards, and deposit accounts—tailored to each member’s unique needs.

This position would be a temp-to-hire opportunity through SNELLING with our client in Tyler, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and SNELLING would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Engagement: Provide high-quality service through various digital platforms, actively listening to needs to offer tailored financial solutions.
- Sales & Growth: Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities for checking/savings accounts, loans, and investment products to meet or exceed individual and team goals.
- Loan Support: Engage with members regarding loan applications and refinancing options, guiding them through the adoption process.
- Digital Education: Promote and troubleshoot self-service tools, including mobile apps, remote deposits, and e-statements.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) laws, policies, and reporting procedures.
- Relationship Management: Build long-term loyalty through personalized guidance, proactive follow-ups, and product bundling.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Experience: At least six months of customer service with sales or cash handling experience. Prior experience as a bank or credit union teller is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Technical Skills: * Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm and data entry speed of 6,500 kph.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF.
- Communication: Bilingual (Spanish) communication abilities, verbal & written, is required to be considered for this role. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to handle high-pressure, stressful situations professionally.
- Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and organized.
