Job Description
Snelling is in search of an experienced Custodian for a local High School in the Grand Rapids area!
2nd shift available – Part-time shifts, $16.50 per hour
Flexible hours are available between 3 pm and 11 pm time frame, M – F.
A clear drug screen and a clean background check are required for this position.
Responsibilities of the Custodian:
Experience in all phases of cleaning and basic building maintenance
Excellent attendance record
Must work well independently with a minimum amount of supervision
Interpersonal skills
Organization skills
Problem-solving skills
An appreciation for diversity
Willing to work flexible hours/overtime hours/some weekends
High school diploma
Perform daily cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, and restrooms
Set up for and clean up after special activities
Knowledge of the operation of floor care equipment or willingness to learn
Additional Requirements of the Custodian:
Certified Pool Operator Certification a plus
Previous experience as a janitor or custodian required
Able to pass a drug screen and background check
