Production Operator – Assembly & Machine Operator
Grand Rapids, MI
$16.00-$17.30 per hour (based on shift)
1st & 2nd Shift Available | Full-Time | Weekly Pay | Overtime Available
Snelling Staffing Services is hiring reliable and hardworking Production Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Grand Rapids, MI. These full-time positions offer competitive pay, weekly paychecks, overtime opportunities, and the potential for permanent employment with excellent benefits.
Depending on your experience and business needs, you may be assigned to either a Small Assembly or Machine Operator position.
Job Responsibilities
Small Assembly
Assemble products and components by hand according to work instructions
Inspect parts throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Machine Operator
Load and unload materials into production machines
Enter and update production information using computer systems
Make basic machine adjustments, including airflow and part positioning
Perform quality inspections using measuring tools
Assist with light assembly duties as needed
Qualifications
Reliable transportation is required (location is not accessible by bus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Basic computer and data entry skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, or tape measures is preferred but not required
