Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble components for pressure and non-pressure tanks, as well as surface-mounted aeration equipment. This includes working with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems while ensuring high-quality standards and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and follow work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions
Assemble systems using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to specifications and quality standards
Inspect components for accuracy, quality, and proper fit during the assembly process
Track and document parts usage to maintain accurate inventory records
Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns
Label, tag, package, and assign assembly numbers to completed products
Collaborate with materials, sales, and other teams to meet production timelines
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned

Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts
Follow all company safety policies and report incidents or near-misses
Complete required training within established timeframes
Contribute ideas to improve processes and productivity
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience (manufacturing or water utilities preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency
Skills & Abilities
Ability to operate machinery and read gauges or measurement tools
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and move for extended periods
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Work Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures. Work may occur indoors or outdoors depending on production needs. Adherence to all safety standards is required.
