Order Picker – Houston, TX 77008

We are seeking a dependable Order Picker to support warehouse operations by accurately pulling customer orders in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for using handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts to locate, pick, and prepare orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Order Picker Job Duties:
 

  • Pull customer orders accurately using handheld barcode scanners
  • Locate and retrieve products from warehouse inventory
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely to transport materials
  • Verify picked items match order specifications before staging for shipment
  • Prepare orders for shipping and delivery
  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper scanning procedures
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

Order Picker Requirements:
 

  • Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
  • Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack preferred
  • Ability to use handheld barcode scanners accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Can adhere to dress code – No visible tattoos
  • No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Pay: $15.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
