Stamper Machine Operator – Houston, TX 77035
We are seeking a dependable Stamper Machine Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating industrial marking equipment to permanently mark parts with serial numbers, lot numbers, and other product information while ensuring accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new equipment and technology.
Stamper Machine Operator Job Duties:
- Set up and operate industrial marking equipment using Windows-based software
- Review work orders, blueprints, and production instructions before each job
- Program and apply part numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, lot numbers, and other required markings
- Inspect first-piece and in-process parts for accuracy and quality
- Adjust machine settings to maintain proper marking depth, spacing, and alignment
- Maintain traceability by properly identifying and separating finished products
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Operate a forklift after training to move materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Stamper Machine Operator Requirements:
- Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine programming
- Ability to read blueprints and production documents
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance when needed
- Steel-toe shoes required
- No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
