Job Description
Snelling has a great opportunity for a Welder Fabricator for a sign company in Grand Rapids.
1st shift, 6am – 4:30pm M – F, 6am – 11am Sat when needed
$18 – $21 based on experience
Responsibilities of the Welder Fabricator:
Mig/Tig welding of metal components into a finished assembly using part prints.
Demonstrate how to properly read a part print.
Maintaining the gas tank system. Can change a gas cylinder properly.
Utilizing weld fixtures when needed.
Properly change wire, liner, insulator and contact tips as needed.
Adjusting wire speed and voltage settings as necessary.
Overall, the employee will demonstrate the proper knowledge to safely perform all facets of the Mig and Tig welders.
Employee will follow all established safety procedures
Employee will be responsible to follow all established manufacturing processes and procedures.
Skills Required of the Welder Fabricator:
Ability to properly set up and operate welding stations
Must be able to pay attention to detail
Must be able to follow directions
Must be dependable. Good attendance and punctuality is a requirement.
Must be able to follow policies and procedures
Prior experience Mig and Tig welding
Additional Reqirements of the Welder Fabricator:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1-3 years of Mig and/or Tig welding experience in a Manufacturing company
Able to pass a background check and drug test
