Controller

Salary: $110,000 – $125,000 DOE + Robust Benefits
Location: Loveland, CO
Position Type: Direct Hire

How you’ll spend your time as a Controller:

Provide strategic financial leadership and long-range planning.
Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with nonprofit and church standards.
Partner with leadership on ministry initiatives, capital projects, and resource planning.
Support the church board and finance committees with clear, timely financial insight.
Lead and develop the finance and business operations team.
 

Skills & experience we’d like you to have as a Controller:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Nonprofit or church experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, audits, and governance.
Proven ability to work with boards and senior leadership.
High integrity, confidentiality, and a servant-leadership mindset.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
