Accounts Receivables Clerk in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves managing incoming payments, billing clients, maintaining records, collaborating with other departments, and generating reports related to accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
•Payment Processing: Ensure accurate processing and posting of incoming payments.
•Invoice Management: Prepare and send invoices, following up on outstanding payments.
•Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of accounts receivable transactions.
•Collaboration: Work with sales and customer service to resolve billing issues.
•Reporting: Generate reports on the status of accounts receivable.
•Policy Development: Help create policies to improve efficiency in accounts receivable management.
•Support: Assist with other finance tasks and manage cash drawer.
Competencies Needed:
•Time Management & Communication: Strong organizational and communication skills.
•Ethics & Problem-Solving: Maintain ethical standards and resolve issues effectively.
•Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting software like Microsoft Dynamic NAV.
Requirements:
•Education: High School Diploma or GED.
•Experience: 3-4 years in accounts receivable or a similar role.
•Skills: Knowledge of accounting principles, problem-solving, credit, and collections.
Work Details:
•Location: Office setting, Mobile, AL.
•Pay Rate: $17-$19 per hour DOE
•Benefits: Healthcare-Paid time off-401K + match-Paid Holidays
•Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
•Physical Demands: Mainly sedentary, but occasional filing and lifting may be required.
