Hardware Operator

Position / Title: Hardware Operator
Shift / Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
@ times they have OT that can be from 5:00-3:30 & if Saturday 5:00/6:00 – 11:00
 
Until the Rowlett facility officially opens, all Rowlett-based employees will report to work at the Bonham facility.
To help offset the additional commute, employees hired for Rowlett positions will receive a $2.00 per hour temporary commute differential while working in Bonham. The commute differential will end once the employee officially transitions to reporting to the Rowlett facility.
Reports To: Hardware Team Lead
Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe working environment while abiding by Tongrun Safety Policies.
Making sure sampling processes and other quality checks are being completed and recorded.
Ensuring the appropriate documentation is completed as required.
Accurately interprets pertinent data that is contained on the Blueprint and Traveler and apply it to the task
being performed.
Locate, pull, and install the proper tooling per set up sheet. Set up the Haeger hardware machines using
the correct amount of pressure to ensure the hardware is installed flush and without damaging the part.
Able to set up and run production within the time limits developed on the traveler. Also, able to point out
errors on the traveler to Supervisor.
Work with other supervisors and support staff on problem analysis, solution simulations and
implementation of improvements.
Ensuring periodic machine maintenance is completed and documented as required.
Carry out any other duties as and when required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands and arms throughout the workday.
Comfortable working around metal fabrication equipment.
