Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic Sealy Job Duties:
 

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment used in production
  • Operate and assist with lathe machines to cut smooth rolls to precise measurements
  • Inspect mechanical systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime
  • Adjust and calibrate machinery to maintain product quality and production efficiency
  • Use hand and power tools to repair mechanical components, belts, and motors
  • Document maintenance work and communicate findings with supervisors and team members
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Support production team by responding quickly to machine breakdowns or malfunctions
  • Participate in preventative maintenance to extend the life of equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve mechanical processes and efficiency

Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic Sealy Requirements:
 

  • Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Some hands-on experience with lathe machines or similar mechanical equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use a variety of tools and equipment
  • Capable of cutting, grinding, and measuring smooth rolls to specification
  • Willingness to work on your feet in a physically demanding environment
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies ever
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to the full shift schedule
  • Strong communication skills and safety-focused mindset


Location: Sealy, TX
Pay: $18-$25+ DOE
Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:00 PM – 2:30 AM
