CONFIDENTIAL – Facilities Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Theodore, AL (Distribution Facility)
We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our buildings, grounds, and equipment running safely and efficiently. This role supports a busy distribution campus and works directly with facility systems, forklifts, trucks, and general equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing (High Level):
•Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs on buildings and grounds
•Work on forklifts, trucks, and material-handling equipment
•Troubleshoot and fix mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC issues
•Complete preventive maintenance and safety inspections
•Work with outside vendors when needed
•Keep tools, shop, and work areas clean and safe
What We’re Looking For:
•3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, mechanical, or equipment repair
•Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
•Experience with forklifts, vehicles, or industrial equipment preferred
•Comfortable using hand and power tools
•Able to lift heavy parts with proper equipment or assistance
•Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work with minimal supervision
Pre-Employment Requirements:
