SNELLING is seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join a dynamic medical team in two key capacities: Referral Coordination and Payment Posting. These in-office roles are essential to ensuring seamless patient transitions and maintaining the financial health of the practice. Whether your expertise lies in navigating the complexities of medical referrals or the precision of financial data entry, we are looking for professionals dedicated to accuracy and excellence in patient services.  The pay rate offered will depend on the prior relevant experience of the candidate and could range from $15.75 to $18/hr.

Key Responsibilities & Skills Needed:


SNELLING is seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals with prior medical office administration experience to join a dynamic medical team in one of two key capacities: Referral Coordination or Payment Posting. These in-office roles are essential to ensuring seamless patient transitions and maintaining the financial health of the practice.  Both roles require office support, not a clinical background.  Whether your expertise lies in navigating the complexities of medical referrals or the precision of financial data entry, we are looking for professionals dedicated to accuracy and excellence in patient services.  The pay rate offered will depend on the prior relevant experience of the candidate and could range from $15.75 to $18/hr.
Referral Management & Patient Coordination:
oFacilitate and track patient referrals to specialty providers, ensuring all necessary clinical documentation is transmitted.
oObtain required prior authorizations and verify insurance coverage to prevent delays in care.
oServe as a primary liaison between patients, primary care practitioners, and specialty offices.
Financial Integrity & Data Entry:
oAccurately post payments from patients and insurance carriers (ERAs and manual entries) to ensure up-to-date account balances.
oReconcile daily deposits and research any payment discrepancies or unapplied funds.
oMaintain a high level of proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical billing software.
Professional Communication:
oProvide exceptional service when communicating with patients and medical staff regarding appointments, authorizations, or billing inquiries.
oMaintain professional written and verbal communication standards at all times.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of two years of healthcare experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting is preferred.
•Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare legal requirements.
•Software Proficiency: Proven ability to operate standard office equipment and navigate complex medical software/EMR systems.
•Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems under pressure.
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
