Job Description
Are you a self-motivated professional who enjoys a mix of warehouse precision and local delivery? SNELLING’s client, a leading local supply house, is looking for a dependable Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join their team. This is a vital role where you aren’t just a driver—you are the face of the company to our customers. Pay will be $18/hr. and the scheduled work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus overtime as needed.
What You’ll Do
•Order Pulling: Accurately pull orders from the warehouse, double-checking items to ensure 100% accuracy before loading.
•Safe Transport: Operate a box truck to deliver supplies across the East Texas area. (No CDL required, but comfort with large vehicles is a must!)
•Customer Service: Deliver items to job sites, ensuring products are placed exactly where the client needs them.
•Professional Sign-off: Review orders with clients, confirm satisfaction, and obtain signatures.
•Problem Solving: Handle any delivery discrepancies on-site with a professional, “can-do” attitude.
What You Bring to the Table
•Physical Stamina: Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
•Clean Record: A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are non-negotiable.
•Local Knowledge: Familiarity with East Texas roads and confidence using GPS/mapping tools to find new sites efficiently.
•Strong Tenure: A proven track record of staying with past employers (we value reliability!).
•Independence: The ability to work hard without constant supervision.
