Industrial Engineer
Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 DOE + Robust Benefits

How you’ll spend your time as an Industrial Engineer:
Scale production from custom one-off prototypes to high-volume manufacturing (10,000+ units).
Use SolidWorks for tooling design and process validation.
Optimize manufacturing workflows for thermoplastic and cross-linked polymer products, transitioning from low-volume thermoforming/casting to high-volume injection molding.
Evaluate and redesign parts for moldability (e.g., optimizing wall thickness, draft angles via SolidWorks simulations), creating process flow diagrams, conducting time-motion studies, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to achieve scalability.
Collaborate with R&D and operations to troubleshoot production issues, select and integrate new equipment (e.g., robotic trim cells, vertical mills), perform cost analyses, and ensure quality standards for utility applications.
Train staff on scaled processes and monitor KPIs for efficiency and quality.
Skills & experience we’d like you to have as an Industrial Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in production scaling and injection molding processes.
Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks for tooling design and process simulation.
Expertise in transitioning designs from one-off to high-volume production (10,000+ units).
Experience with injection molding design principles (e.g., mold flow analysis, DFM).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
Ability to integrate new equipment into production lines (e.g., robotic cells, mills).
Strong analytical, project management, and training skills.
Familiarity with utility industry standards and high-volume manufacturing of thermoplastics is strongly preferred.
