Inventory Clerk - Claims

JOB DESCRIPTION

Aloha,

We are currently seeking an Inventory Clerk for a warehousing and customized distribution service in Honolulu!

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for maintaining good inventory control practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Inventory control
Manage daily problems
Research all overages, shortages and damages
Prepare a claims packet that includes all researched information to support discrepancy
Ink post discrepancy tickets
Verifying high ticket recounts
Input pallet charges
Monitor open items
Client Inventory Control
Monthly inventory clients

OTHER FUNCTIONS
Backup support for:
Answering phones
Phone/Fax orders
Ink post non discrepancy tickets Pallet summary report
Location changes
Input storage and direct warehouse receipts Daily tonnage report
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Claims Manager and Office Manager

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Requires basic reading, writing, math, computer skills and problem solving.
Requires good planning and good customer service skills.
Must be able to work with all levels of management.
Must possess good communication skills.
Must be a self-starter who is organized and responsible.

EXPERIENCE
1 year of clerical experience.
