Duties & Responsibilities for the Payroll & Accounting Specialist:

  • Responsible for coordinating and ensuring accuracy of all aspects of payroll
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the responsibilities and ethics of a payroll professional.
  • This position provides first in class customer service by responding to employee payroll inquiries efficiently and accurately
  • Acts as a liaison regarding employee paperwork and other payroll related issues with Human Resources
  • Verifies attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments
  • Responsible for all Accounts Payable details
  • Verifies approval on all invoices and check requests
  • Works with vendors on an as needed basis
  • Reviews expense reports and processes payments
  • Maintains complete confidentiality throughout all aspects of job
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and electronic
  • Computer literate, ability to learn proprietary software required
  • Experience with Foundation software a plus!
