Salesforce Developer Remote


We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to add to an existing team of young go-getters.  This small team needs to add a Full Time staff member as they gear up for the creation of several Salesforce “companies”, many of which are overseas.  You've got a choice of remote work, or considering a move to Virginia Beach, a fantastic active city on the Atlantic ocean –  the team is cohesive, fun, and works very well together – they’d like to find someone who can take a joke and dish it out, but they’re also desiring to find a talent who has “configuration” experience with Salesforce.

The work site is modern and well appointed, but if you're choose remote work, we'll need the occasional trip to HQ here in VB to stay connected.  All of the efforts will support a large, modern enterprise that helps the business mission. 

The successful candidate will possess a proven, successful track record in the following areas:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT and 3 years experience with Salesforce development required
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM required
  • Experience with Salesforce Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP) a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce Communities a plus
  • Experience with Apex and/or Visual Force a plus
  • Salesforce Developer certification required
  • Other Salesforce certifications a plus
  • Preference for Declarative Solutions, ability to code if needed
  • Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills  and the ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team-oriented environment, mentor and support additional IT team members. Experience working in Agile teams a plus
  • Experience with the introduction of new technologies and standards in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and IT practices
  • Experience in selecting and implementing packaged software solutions
  • Experience in configuration management desired
  • Experience developing and deploying apps using IDE or migration tools a plus. ALM Experience a plus
  • Experience in data migration, data hygiene, and bulk data loading into Salesforce desired
  • Experience with integrated multi-channel marketing (print, telephone, digital media, social media, ecommerce and/or consumer services) a plus
  • Working knowledge and experience with non-profit fundraising a plus
