District Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Purpose:

 

Oversees multiple on-site locations. Maximizes sales revenues of the offices. Interviews, hires, train, schedules and assigns work, resolves grievances, sets pay rates, supervises day-to-day operations of On-Site Services Managers, disciplines and terminates employees when necessary. Satisfies clients by filling orders with appropriate personnel in an accurate and timely manner and resolves all client and temporary employee concerns regarding work assignments.

Duties/Responsibilities – Essential Functions
 

  1. Provides leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to a team of On-Site Services Managers and Coordinators
  2. Develops new strategies and programs to attract field employees
  3. Develops and maintains recruiting resources to include centers of influence to fill staffing requirements.
  4. Pre-qualifies, interviews and evaluates/tests all qualified applicants
  5. Maintains a pool of qualified field employees to ensure that Snelling provides high quality and timely service
  6. Performs reference checks to verify applicants’ experience, employment history and education
  7. Places appropriate field employees to fulfill client requirements
  8. Implements and conducts safety programs and leads monthly safety meetings
  9. Manages Workers Compensation claims for all sites
  10. Ensures compliance with all contract requirements (i.e. background, drug screen, E-verify etc.)
  11. Conducts monthly reviews/audits of hiring processes to provide training and ensure compliance with I-9 completion, E-verify compliance and Background requirements
  12. Maintains training matrix and records
  13. Implements, maintains and troubleshoots timekeeping systems
  14. Provide the highest level of customer service for clients

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
 

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline
  2. 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in the staffing industry
  3. 2+ years of professional experience in a high-pressure, customer service environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
  3. Must maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
  4. Must demonstrate ability to work independently, multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
  5. Must demonstrate flexibility, openness, respect and sensitivity in dealing with others
  6.  

  7. Maturity, judgment and consultative ability to interact effectively with executive level candidates and clients required
  8. Must have excellent customer service skills
