Call Center Representative

Snelling has openings for Call Center Representatives for a large fast-paced health benefit company located in Dallas, TX. We need ambitious and hardworking associates who have strong written and verbal communication skills, phone skills, listening, data entry skills, people informing skills, attention to detail, and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive inbound calls
  • Place outbound calls to customers to complete benefit enrollment, answer questions or follow up on escalations
  • Answer questions about the benefit plans for client
  • Understand clearly and administer the rules for client
  • Assist customers with technical issues experienced on website
  • Escalate issues to management
  • Perform service related resolutions for assigned client
  • Perform administration in system for Qualified Life Events
  • Enroll eligible customers into health and life benefit offerings
  • To be at station ready to take calls minimum of 5 minutes before shift

Required qualifications to provide superior customer service include:

  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple clients and adapt to change within a fast-paced call center
  • Possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone
  • Must possess and be able to demonstrate closing skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
  • Ability to type 40+wpm
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel
  • Previous call center experience a plus
  • Health and welfare knowledge a plus

Starting Pay: $14/hour


  • 8AM-5PM
  • 9AM-6PM
  • 10AM-7PM
  • 11AM-8PM
