Grill Cook

The Cook prepares and cooks food according to the company’s production guidelines, standardized recipes, and safety procedures. This role supports daily kitchen operations and ensures high–quality food service.

Key Responsibilities

Cook and prepare a variety of foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes.

Set up workstation with all required ingredients, tools, and equipment.

Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.

Safely use kitchen tools including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.

Cook using multiple methods: baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, etc.

Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.

Properly store food following food safety and sanitation policies

Qualifications/Certifications

Experience as a cook or in a related role is required. Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage. Must be able to acquire food safety certification. Demonstrate basic math and counting skills. Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
