Job Description
Snelling Staffing of Canton Ohio is currently looking for 2 experienced Machinists for a steel mill in Canton, OH.
2 shifts to pick from
second shift position 3 PM – 11 PM Mon – Fri
Midnights Sun – Thur 11p-7a
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MILL MACHINIST
Pay Range is $23 – $25 Per Hour
Duties:
– Set up and operate milling machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints or specifications
– Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
– Perform routine maintenance on milling machines to ensure optimal performance
– Inspect finished parts for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
– Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of finished parts
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
– Previous experience operating milling machines or similar equipment
– Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Knowledge of machining techniques and principles
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team!
