Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate
A growing company on the North side of Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous delivery and warehouse experience, strong order fulfillment skills, a valid chauffeur’s license, and a clean driving record.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMPay: $18/hourPosition: Temp-to-PermLocation: North Grand RapidsRequired: Valid Chauffeur’s License
Position Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload the delivery vehicle and assist coworkers as needed.
Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, sort, and store inventory in designated locations. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery.
Delivery Operations: Safely drive to various customer locations to deliver products and collect merchandise.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments, including delivery records.
Warehouse Operations: Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Customer Communication: Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery times and report inventory discrepancies or damaged products to supervisors.
Safety & Vehicle Maintenance: Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean driving record and valid chauffeur’s license.
Requirements
Previous delivery driver experience
Previous warehouse and/or order-pulling experience
Valid Chauffeur’s License — Required
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to safely lift, load, and unload products
