Warehouse Order Picker – Hair Care Products
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overtime: As needed based on business needs
Job Summary
The Warehouse Order Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, picking, and preparing hair care products for shipment in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role ensures customer orders are fulfilled correctly, safely, and on time while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pick hair care products, including shampoo, conditioner, styling products, treatments, tools, and other items according to order tickets or RF scanner instructions
Accurately verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions
Build and wrap pallets safely for shipment
Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit
Perform quality checks to ensure products are not damaged or expired
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals
Assist with inventory counts as needed
Qualifications
Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic math skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to consistently lift 10–20 lbs
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as needed
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
Work Environment
Distribution warehouse setting
May operate pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment if certified
Overtime may be required based on business needs
