Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual for our Testing Tech position. The main responsibility of this role is to perform pre-delivery inspections on brand new trucks before they are sent off to the main facility. The ideal candidate should be familiar with basic tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and hammers. The use of battery-powered impact and screw guns is preferred but not required. This role does not involve any diagnostics or extensive repairs.
Location: On site
Shift / Hours:
Training – 6am to 5pm; Monday to Friday,
Occasional Saturdays (maybe 1 every 6-8 weeks)
Responsibilities:
Perform pre-delivery inspections on brand new trucks before they are sent off to the main facility
Make small modifications to the trucks if necessary
Familiarity with basic tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and hammers
Preferred use of battery-powered impact and screw guns
Work with high dollar shop tools such as frame drills and torque wrenches
Maintain calibration of torque wrenches every quarter
Requirements:

Experience working on cars is a plus
THIS IS NOT A CLIMATE CONTROLLED SHOP. MUST BE USED TO WORKING IN THE HEAT.
