Job Description
Shipper/Material Handler
schedule is 6:30-3:00 M-F with varying weekend hours once a month.
Responsibilities
⦁ Follows safe work practices, basic operations procedures and contributes to a safe work culture ⦁ Follows the Tenets of Operations, COO/OD, Life Saving Rules and all plant safety requirements ⦁ Uses basic power tools ⦁ Accurately identify and pick product based on order documentation. ⦁ Prepares product for shipping per packaging requirements
Required Qualifications
⦁ At least 18 years of age and Valid Driver’s License ⦁ General knowledge and experience using power tools ⦁ Basic computer and math skills ⦁ Proficient in English. (verbal and written) ⦁ Detailed-oriented ⦁ Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance ⦁ Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
· Minimum of 2 years forklift operation experience.
· Basic math skills and be able to read a tape measure.
