Snelling Staffing is hiring an experienced Die Corrector / Die Repair Technician for a manufacturing facility in Caldwell, Texas.

Job Responsibilities
Inspect aluminum extrusion dies for wear, damage, defects, and performance issues.
Repair and correct extrusion dies using grinding, polishing, cleaning, welding, reshaping, and other corrective techniques.
Clean, lubricate, and maintain dies to help extend tooling life and prevent production defects.
Analyze extruded profiles for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and overall die performance.
Make adjustments to dies and tooling to improve product quality and production efficiency.
Modify dies to meet production requirements and customer specifications.
Use precision tools and equipment including grinders, polishers, calipers, micrometers, and measuring instruments.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, die specifications, and production documentation.
Work closely with press operators, quality control, maintenance, and production teams to troubleshoot die-related issues.
Document die repairs, maintenance work, adjustments, and performance information.
Assist with maintaining an organized inventory of extrusion dies, tooling, and related equipment.
Follow OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and manufacturing safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Support continuous improvement efforts within the die shop and manufacturing operation.
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, hydraulics, metalworking, tooling, or a related industrial environment.
Previous experience as a Die Corrector, Tool and Die Maker, Die Repair Technician, Tooling Technician, Machinist, or similar manufacturing position is preferred.
Aluminum extrusion experience is a plus.
Experience using grinders, polishers, and other metalworking tools.
Ability to use precision measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and die specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Vocational training or certification in metalworking, manufacturing, hydraulics, machining, or a related field is a plus.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, nights, weekends, overtime, and occasional Sundays as needed.
Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to complete required background screening and drug screening.
Schedule
This is a full-time Die Corrector position working 12-hour shifts. The typical schedule may include Monday through Saturday, with overtime and occasional Sunday work depending on production needs.
Manufacturing Work Environment
This position works in an active manufacturing and aluminum extrusion environment. Employees may be exposed to machinery, industrial equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
