Class B Dump Truck Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven dump truck driving experience, the ability to operate a manual transmission truck, and a strong commitment to safety and reliability. This position requires a dependable driver who can safely transport materials, perform daily vehicle inspections, and follow all jobsite and company safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a dump truck with manual transmission
Transport and deliver materials to and from jobsites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensure proper loading, unloading, and securement of materials
Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and jobsite safety requirements
Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records
Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members
Assist with general jobsite duties as needed
Requirements:
Valid Class B CDL required
Must be able to operate a manual transmission truck
Minimum of 1 year of proven dump truck driving experience required
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
Clean criminal background required
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience hauling construction materials
Familiarity with construction jobsites and equipment
Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and efficiency
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and operate a truck for extended periods
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and occasional physical jobsite tasks
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
