Nacco Materials Handling Group – Quality Candidates Shorten the Hiring Cycle
Nacco Materials Handling Group (NMHG) designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a variety of materials handling equipment – from narrow aisle warehouse trucks to cargo handling equipment under the brand names Hyster® and Yale®.
NMHG’s dealerships were struggling in their search for quality sales representatives. The dealerships’ goals were to make each of their sales reps’ territories smaller in order to help increase product awareness and (therefore) sales.
Snelling of Huntsville was contacted to help them reach these goals. While working with NMHG’s management team, Snelling quickly realized that there was an opportunity for NMHG to support a veterans’ re-hiring initiative – something that had not been part of their culture before.
So, our Snelling office designed a veteran recruitment model based on best practices, personally overseeing every step of the recruitment process, including onsite interviews at all 44 dealerships.

MacLellan – Cost Savings Result from Partner Consolidation
MacLellan’s mission is to improve their clients’ competitive advantage by driving down their costs while delivering stellar, comprehensive services.
Snelling of San Antonio was initially contracted by MacLellan as one of many vendors to help with the facility maintenance at a large automobile assembly plant. This multiple vendor arrangement caused MacLellan’s own costs to skyrocket. Thanks to Snelling’s strong recruitment strategies, Snelling of San Antonio was able to consistently provide quality associates when and where they were needed.
Over the next couple of months, our Snelling office became MacLellan’s sole source vendor, while continuing to make process improvements in regards to time capture automation, invoicing, data transfer, orientation processing, and equipment/inventory distribution.
